Ted Strathdee

Ted comes to us with over two decades of financial services experience, most recently as a financial advisor providing comprehensive financial planning with SmithBarney in Greenwich, Ct, where he started in 1988.  Prior to that, Ted worked for more than four years at New England Brokerage Corporation and for one and a half years at Met Life.  While in college, Ted had a one month internship working in the commodity markets with REFCO in Chicago.

Ted grew up in Rye, NY, but has lived in Fairfield County, Ct since 1984. He graduated from St. Lawrence University with a double major in economics and psychology.  He holds series 7, series 3, series 65 and 63 licenses and is also licensed  in life, accident, health, property and casualty insurances.  While working at Smith Barney, Ted earned their Financial Planning Specialist designation in 2002.

He and his wife Anja have two children Ellie, age 13 and Douglas, age 15, and they currently live in Riverside, Ct, where his children attend Greenwich schools. Ted’s hobbies include golf, tennis and cycling.  Ted is a lifetime member of The United States Tennis Association.
