George Keith joins Westport Resources with a rich background of outstanding contribution to financial services. As the recent Executive Vice President of National Financial, a Fidelity Investments institution, Mr. Keith led an aggressive sales team to record sales growth and client contribution. He served as one of 12 key Fidelity officers in developing a five-year global strategic plan for the future of the entire organization.

In earlier assignments George experienced a strong sales history including Managing Director, head of National sales, for Alliance Bernstein also responsible for Global Accounts reporting directly to the firm’s Chairman.

Prior to that, Mr. Keith served as SVP National Accounts at Scudder/Kemper, as well as President & CEO of Dreman Value Group. This followed a 16-year career with Paine Webber serving as SVP and National Sales Manager culminating with Mr. Keith overseeing a $9 billion mutual fund group and heading the New York branch overseeing 120 brokers generating $65 million in annual revenues.  He also was Chairman of the Focus List Committee, a select investment advisory group directing stock purchases for 6,000 advisors.

Mr. Keith is a Cum Laude graduate of SUNY, Albany, launching his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Touche Ross, ultimately culminating in a management consultant position with that prestigious firm.

Mr. Keith resides in Pelham, New York, with his wife Cathy and three children.
