Tim Looney

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Looney is the firm’s Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Westport Resources, Mr. Looney was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer with Stock USA Investments/Speedrader.com. Speedtrader.com provides an electronic trading platform for individuals and corporations to self-direct trades in equities, options and futures. In that role, he oversaw all financial and compliance responsibilities, including but not limited to be the firm’s liaison on all regulatory reviews, implementing a business continuity plan, budgeting, forecasting and oversight of all treasury related functions.

Prior to Speedtrader.com Mr. Looney was the Chief Financial Officer for Mony Securities Corporation, the broker dealer and investment advisor for Mony Life Insurance Company. Mony Securities had over 2,000 registered representatives offering its clients annuities, mutual funds, brokerage services and asset management through its clearing broker National Financial.

Mr Looney held business management roles earlier in his career at Smith Barney, Yamaichi and Natwest.

Mr. Looney received a B.A. degree in Accounting, from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.

Mr. Looney holds Series 7, 8, 24, 27, and 63 licenses; he’s also a Certified Public Accountant.
